Connhex Spring '25 release: Reports and Transforms

🌱 Spring is here and so is a new Connhex!

Welcome to the Spring ‘25 release for Connhex! In this post, we’ll walk through our latest features and improvements that make Connhex even more powerful.

New for Connhex Edge

We’ve expanded Connhex Edge with custom services update notifications and released practical examples to help you quickly interact with the edge agent.

These examples provide ready-to-use code patterns that make integration simpler than ever.

Connhex Exporter gets supercharged

Connhex Exporter has received significant enhancements:

• New Reports feature allows you to generate consistent, scheduled reports
• Transform functions let you manipulate data during export (max, min, cumsum, offset, and more)
• Improved export customizability with different CSV delimiters, decimal granularity control, and wide exports
• Support for export items with multiple names and labels

Control and Core improvements

Connhex Control now automatically adds connectables to Manufacturing and includes dedicated visualization for messages compliant with the Connhex Message Policy.

For Connhex Core, we’ve added a new reader transform option, plus an unprovision API. We’ve also updated provisioning APIs to return the entire connectable, and enabled updating a connectable’s model.

Notifications and Resources

Connhex Notifications now supports Custom Target notifications: you can now notify specific endpoints, instead of being limited to Connhex Identities. Connhex Resources has been enhanced with filtering associated resources over array attributes.

Across the board

Some improvements span our entire suite:

• ARM compatibility for all Connhex builds, expanding deployment options
• Automated Docs for Connhex customers. This means we’ll take care of generating and updating your platform’s documentation!¹
